For the second time in three weeks, Nebraska tight end Aric Gilbert was arrested on burglary charges.
The more recent charges came with the arrest on Friday, when Gilbert was booked on counts of smash-and-grab robbery and obstructionof an officer in Lumpkin County, Georgia. Details of the incident in which Gilbert, a Georgia native, was arrested are not yet known.
Gilbert was previously
arrested on August 29 in Lincoln, Nebraska
on a felony burglary charge. In that incident, he allegedly robbed a liquor and vape store, and surveillance video showed a man kicking in the door, entering the store, and being confronted by police on his way out.
